Coffee Afternoon “LETS HELP HAITI”
Local Turkish mums in Bournemouth along with their children and friends will be holding a coffee afternoon at Amaretto Restaurant, 272 Old Christchurch Road Bournemouth on Saturday 20 February 2010 from 12:00pm to 15:00pm to raise much needed funds for those in need in Haiti. All proceeds will go to the UNICEF to help children in Haiti affected by the recent earthquake.
One of the poorest places in the world has been torn apart. Hundreds have lost their lives and tens of thousands lost their homes in the biggest earthquake to hit Haiti in 200 years. It has been a terrible tragedy what has happened in Haiti and hopefully our event will go some small way to help the children who have been badly hurt by the earthquake.
Please come a long and meet local Turkish mums in Bournemouth and enjoy Fairtrade coffee, tea, home-made mezes, cakes, savouries, biscuits and Italian pizza for a small donation. (or more if you wish) If anyone is interested in cooking for the event (bring food from home) ,you are very welcome. Children are welcome. Kids corner will be available under parents control. |
